The Course
This beginner-friendly course gets you speaking Dutch / Flemish from day one. You’ll learn the sounds, essential vocabulary, and simple grammar for everyday life (greetings, numbers, present tense, word order) and practice with bite-size listening drills, mini-dialogues, and pronunciation tips. We’ll also touch on cultural cues and polite forms so you sound natural, not just correct.
By the end, you’ll confidently handle real-world tasks: introducing yourself, asking for directions, ordering food, shopping at markets, and using public transport. Whether you’re traveling, settling in, or collaborating with Dutch-speaking colleagues, you’ll have practical language you can use immediately. Most importantly, you’ll build a solid foundation to keep progressing without feeling overwhelmed.
What you will learn
This course is designed as a clear and realistic first step into Dutch / Flemish. We start with the basics beginners really need: pronunciation, useful everyday vocabulary, and simple sentences you can use right away.
The course is divided into 10 modules, each with 7 short lessons. If you follow one lesson per day, you can reach A1 level in about 10 weeks. Each lesson is focused and practical, with clear explanations, examples, audio, and small exercises, so learning never feels overwhelming.
You’ll build your Dutch step by step: from sounds and simple sentences to talking about yourself, daily life, directions, routines, and plans. Along the way, you’ll find short dialogues, repetition, and gentle practice to help you gain confidence and actually use what you learn.
This course is ideal if you want structure, clarity, and a calm learning pace, without pressure, but with real progress.
